Part One - Introductions

I'm a bit behind the times when it comes to films, books, games and generally adopting new technology - a constant theme for formed from generally being a bit slow on the up take and also because I can't afford stuff until it comes down in price!  The major downside is that everyone has seen it/read it/played it/bought it and no longer wants to hear about because they're all talked out about it or are embarrassed because they paid full whack for something that was crap!

The benefits being a) stuff is cheaper and b) you do a pretty good job of avoiding hype generally associated with new stuff.

So, the plan is to use this blog for me to vent my opinion about things that have past and been mostly forgotten because everybody else has moved on!  

My rules will be these:-

a)  There is no such thing as crap - there is either stuff you like or you don't

b)  There will be no ratings out of ten or whatever - just an opinion to share with as much objectivity as possible.

c)  That's it - if you drop by and like/dislike what I've said, feel free to drop me a line - it would be nice to hear from you.

Review sites like Metacritic are all very fine and I'm not knocking them but sometimes contributors can be "fanboyish" in behaviour and can lose site of what it is they are commenting on.  

So, I'll try not to be a fanboy and try to be fair.
